1) Assessment centre supporting business restructuring (Not-for-Profit sector, Switzerland)

Background:

The ImaginativeHR team was engaged by an international not-for-profit organisation, which was in the process of significant restructuring, to manage a series of assessment centres for central support staff who were required to re-apply for a reduced number of mostly new roles across the organisation. Circa 40 members of staff who re-applied for these roles were required to participate.

Solution:

Our team reviewed the organisation’s competency models and designed a large-scale bespoke solution, comprising case studies, structured interviews and role-specific behavioural interventions. Participants completed a series of psychometrics, followed by the bespoke assessment elements. Once all exercises were completed, defensible and scientific selections were made, aligned with the organisation’s restructuring strategy.

2) Assessment for selection (Legal sector, United Kingdom)

Background:

The ImaginativeHR team was engaged by a mid-sized, legal practice to assess a series of senior fee-earning and non fee-earning new-hires, as the organisation continued to develop its commercial capability.

Solution:

Our team reviewed the organisation’s competency models and developed a set of key interview questions. We opted to use Saville Consulting’s Wave Personality Questionnaire together with a series of numerical reasoning aptitude tests. Senior candidates completed individualised assessments and received feedback from an occupational psychologist. The organisation was able to make confident decisions about its key-hire selections.
